Marketing & Ecommerce Manager – Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

£55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits

Bluetree is recruiting for an Ecommerce Marketing Manager for our client, an award-winning medical device and AI company pioneering cardiovascular health technology. This is a senior, hands-on role for a contemporary, commercially minded marketer who lives and breathes social media, someone who understands how platform algorithms work and can use that insight, alongside video and creative content, to drive rapid, numbers-led growth. You'll take the lead on content, video, and ecommerce for the company reporting directly to founder with real scope to build out the function as it grows.

You will also be involved in supporting another company the Founder is associated with providing guidance and support with their Marketing and Social Media Strategy.  This is a full-time permanent hybrid role.

The Role

Requirements

• Own content, social and ecommerce strategy for the company
• Report directly to the Founder on performance, growth and ROI
• Own and manage the marketing budget, evaluating return on investment across every channel
• Brief, guide and mentor junior marketing support as the function grows
• Take full ownership of social media strategy and execution, they are looking for someone who has a genuine understanding of how platform algorithms work and how to use that to drive organic reach and traffic
• Introduce and lead a video content strategy, bringing video into the brand's content mix for the first time
• Use varied, contemporary social media formats to build audience, trust and traffic and convert that into business, not just engagement
• Take full ownership of the Shopify store: product uploads, landing pages, collections and conversion-focused merchandising
• Move email marketing on from MailChimp to a more capable platform, and lead that transition
• Aggressively target market growth with a numbers-first mindset, using analytics (GA4, Shopify and social insights) to track what's converting into sales and pipeline

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in a senior, hands-on marketing and/or ecommerce role, with a track record of driving rapid growth through social media
• A contemporary, creative marketer who lives and breathes social media and understands how algorithms work, someone execution-focused rather than purely strategic
• Confidence introducing and producing video content
• Strong analytical skills, confident using data (GA4, Shopify analytics, social insights, email platforms) to measure ROI and shape strategy
• Solid hands-on Shopify (or equivalent ecommerce platform) experience
• Experience with email/CRM platforms beyond MailChimp (e.g. Klaviyo), and the initiative to lead a platform move
• Confident managing budgets and reporting performance to senior stakeholders
• Experience within medical devices, healthcare or another regulated sector is an advantage
