Meet the team

Claire Newman
Founder / Director

Claire began her recruitment career in the 90’s, focusing on creative and marketing vacancies. After 8 years working her way up from Consultant to MD at a leading London Creative Recruitment Agency, she swapped the city for the countryside and set up Bluetree in 2004.

 

Claire is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (FREC) and her proudest personal achievements include raising over £7,000 for Cancer Charities by running the London Marathon and Braving the Shave. Claire is Mum to her daughter Hope and four gorgeous dogs, she loves Yoga and Squash, Country Walks and taking alot of Photos.

Louise Pearl
Senior Consultant

Louise started her career in recruitment working 6 years for a leading London Creative Recruitment Agency and she was promoted to Director.   She left when she decided to move overseas and after a short period working for Bluetree as a Resourcer, she secured Senior Recruitment roles in Hong Kong and New Zealand.  When she returned to the UK she worked as a Client Services Manager before returning to work for Bluetree once more.

 

After taking a career break to spend time with her son, Louise returned to Bluetree in September 2021 as a Senior Consultant.  Louise loves nothing more than spending time with her son, taking her dog on long walks and is a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan.

Victoria Kennedy
Operations Manager

After Victoria’s childhood dream of becoming a dancer was curtailed due to injury, she decided to focus her career on the other love of her life – organising!  Victoria had various operational and assistant roles which included working with corporate banks, high-net-worth individuals and even a famous face or two!

 

Her skillset and thoroughness behind the scenes make her the perfect person to undertake the Operations Manager role joining Bluetree in January 2021. Her favourite moments are spent with her two young sons; usually caked in mud on various sidelines or on a woodland walk in Surrey!

Sam Jennings
Finance Manager

Sam has worked in accountancy since 1998. She started her training at a small two partner practice in Shepperton then worked for larger practices as a Client Manager, which involved managing several clients’ accounting and tax affairs.

 

In 2015 Sam decided to bring her large wealth of knowledge from practice into the commercial environment. She qualified with the ACCA in 2009 and became a fellow in 2015 and joined Bluetree in July 2016. Sam, her husband and their daughter enjoy spending time together with days out to the beach.
