Packaging Graphic Designer - Guildford, Surrey

£24,000 - £26,000 DOE plus benefits

Bluetree is recruiting for a Packaging Graphic Designer to join a global toy and games company on a hybrid basis in Guildford. If you love bringing brands to life through bold, brilliant packaging – and want to see your work on shelves around the world – this could be exactly the move you’re looking for.  As part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary design team, you’ll create packaging that makes products fly off the shelf from first concept through to final production.  This is a full time permanent hybrid role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating packaging solutions for existing and brand-new product lines
• Collaborating with an international team of graphic experts and design agencies
• Translating concepts and briefs into eye-catching, on-brand graphics
• Producing standout POS material and exhibition decoration
• Applying and maintaining brand consistency across a diverse product portfolio
• Building mockups for meetings and presentations
• Brainstorming and researching pack solutions for exciting new product concepts
• Liaising with international offices on technical specs, translations, and safety information

What We're Looking For

• A recognised qualification in graphic or packaging design
• Some hands-on design experience, with a portfolio you’re proud to show off
• Confident working in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• A good eye for pack structure and commercial, distinctive design solutions
• A sound understanding of print production techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter who thrives independently and as part of a team
• Bags of creativity, energy, attention to detail and a good sense of humour

An interest in the toy, games or FMCG sector is a real bonus, but not essential.
