What You'll Do:

We are delighted to be working for a global hybrid agency who produce content, collateral and campaigns expertly from concept to delivery for their extensive B2B and B2C client base.  They work with some of the biggest global brands and they are now looking for a Traffic Resource Manager to join their busy agency on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

The successful applicants’ main duties and key responsibilities:

Resource Management

  • Plan work across all teams and manage freelancers and third parties as required
  • Oversee jobs and make sure they are on track and on time, re-distributing or bringing in additional resource as required
  • Take responsibility for the efficient management of the agency workflow
  • Attend and lead weekly resource planning and forecast meetings, flag potential issues and provide solutions
  • Work with Heads of Department to highlight skills gaps and build our clients roster of freelancers
  • Use your knowledge of creative specialisms to work with Account/Project Managers to advise on best resource planning for their requirements
  • Ensure timesheet data is captured to monitor quoted vs actual and utilization

Process / System Management

  • Monitor projects to ensure they are following the agency’s way and are entered into the agency system correctly
  • Own and champion the agency scheduling system and workflow process
  • Attend project meetings as required to support the agency way
  • Look for ways to improve resource management processes to be more efficient, more profitable, reduce admin and improve quality of work


  • Be the conduit between client and creatives services teams – build strong relationships. Always approachable

The ideal candidate will have the following key knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Have a good understanding of art, copy and design, media, studio production and development processes
  • Have plenty of experience working in an agency environment in a traffic/studio/resource management role
  • Be exceptionally organised with a passion for driving and optimising resource
  • Be pro-active and reactive – ensuring there is resource to cope with all incoming work both planned and unforeseen
  • Be able to adapt to new and unexpected demands in an ever-changing environment
  • Have excellent communication skills – be great at negotiation, and confident with dealing with both senior and junior levels
  • Be a natural relationship builder, able to foster positive working relationships both internally and with 3rd parties
  • Keep calm under pressure - juggling lots of projects across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment can be stressful
  • Thrive on challenges – have amazing trouble shooter skills and be a solution provider
  • Have good commercial awareness – be aware of profitability and always look to improve efficiencies
