Senior Developer – Farnham, Surrey / WFH

The role can be hybrid, but our client wants someone who enjoys collaborating with the design team to build stunning visual and functional WordPress websites

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer has become available to join a brand design and digital agency based in Farnham. They are looking to hire a Senior Developer to join their impressive team on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

The Senior Developer will have the following key responsibilities:

Strategic & commercial
Technical & practical
Management & resources

The Senior Developer will have the following skills and experience:

Essential

Confident communicator, ideally happy to lead client meetings about digital projects
Team management, competent in keeping internal teams informed and up to date about project statuses and progress
Task management
Agency experience
Digital project experience
Knowledgeable about both existing and emerging technologies
Senior-level working knowledge and the ability to code in / work with numerous programmes, including WordPress which is essential

Desired

A good understanding of Shopify and the Liquid code template language is a plus but not essential
Working knowledge of modern front-end libraries and frameworks such as Vue (preferred) would be a bonus, as would experience or good understanding of headless CMS concepts and setups
