An exciting brand design and digital agency are looking to hire a Senior Account Manager to join their impressive team.  You will enjoy picking up the phone to speak with clients, building strong relationships and making clients feel so highly valued that would never consider about going elsewhere!

Job Description

The successful applicant will carry out the following duties:

  • Manage and grow the key accounts you work on.
  • Run branding and website projects successfully.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, attend meetings and produce contact reports.
  • Present work to clients with the creative team and manage the client feedback process.
  • Develop, implement and manage marketing across multiple channels for clients and the Agency.
  • Develop strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Liaise with suppliers and be able to brief the team to deliver requirements.
  • Manage budgets and timelines internally and externally.
  • Create and maintain schedules of work in progress and generate project documentation.
  • Support business development when required by creating initiatives, following up new leads, meeting and presenting to new clients and prospects, researching, proposal writing and project management.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a small agency working with multiple clients – large and small.
  • Solid working knowledge of branding, website projects, marketing communications, account management and digital technology.
  • Experience in managing the delivery of marketing communications through various channels – print, digital, emarketing, websites and social media.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to bring fresh ideas to solve problems.
  • Strong planning and project management skills with experience of managing multiple concurrent marketing communications projects.
  • Confident, proactive, client-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in relevant Mac-based applications including Microsoft Office and Acrobat.
  • Experience of WordPress CMS and MailChimp and any other digital platforms including social media.
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills.

The Successful Candidate

This is an exciting opportunity to run some key client accounts and to help the business grow. You’ll make sure that the clients you look after never want to go anywhere else. You’ll be the type of positive person who wants to pick up the phone or set up a Zoom and chat projects through. You’ll be a great communicator and build strong relationships - you won’t hide behind impersonal emails – that’s not who our client is.

You will make clients feel that they are the most important person to you and the Agency. Clients will love the way you work – backed up by the great design work the Agency creates and the brilliant websites they build.

They’ll love the proactive ideas you suggest and you’ll love growing the account. Big asks, but our client wants their clients to love what they do and how they do it. Some of these great partnerships have led to award winning work, with a dollop of fun along the way!
