Salary DOE plus benefits; including personal and team commission

Working from home one day per week following training

Hours:   Monday - Friday: 8.30am – 6.00pm

Our client is a highly successful and very well-established recruitment IT specialist who require a Sales Consultant / Account Manager.  Based in Walton-On-Thames, Surrey, the Sales Consultant / Account Manager would join their growing team on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

The Sales Consultant / Account Manager will have the following key responsibilities:

  • To source new clients through lead generation and prospecting
  • To build client relationships with aim of becoming their preferred supplier of contract and/or permanent employees
  • To maintain and develop healthy and productive relationships with existing clients in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment requirements
  • To develop a good understanding of client companies, their industry, working practices, values, culture and environment
  • To provide advice to both clients and candidates on contract rates and salary and on market conditions generally; speaking with confidence on the skill-set recruiting for
  • To attend client visits
  • To take complete and detailed job orders and set up the vacancy on the CMS system ensuring GDPR compliance
  • To draft job advertisements to attract candidates
  • To carry out full 360° recruitment cycle to include candidate sourcing, telephone interviewing, matching technical/functional and soft skills, background checks. There may be occasions with urgent contracts where the roles will go out to the Delivery Team
  • To source suitable candidates from database and external job boards
  • To headhunt, identify and approach suitable candidates
  • To communicate with and provide guidance and support to Delivery Team to ensure collaborative approach to filling vacancies and checking search criteria
  • To analyse candidate CVs to assess suitability and present to client having checked content/quality of CVs and bannering
  • To agree contract terms and ensure the relevant paperwork is prepared for all stakeholders subject to management approval
  • To handle contract extensions
  • To provide cover for Sales Consultants in their absence
  • To carry out any ad hoc duties as appropriate and reasonably directed
