About our Client

Our client is an integrated agency based in Staines.  They are award-winning, have been going for many years and are very busy. They are currently looking for a highly motivated and capable Project Manager to join their busy team.

Job Description

The successful applicant will carry out the following main duties and responsibilities:

  • Effectively build and maintain client relationships
  • Take responsibility and day to day ownership of any allocated projects / jobs, identifying and managing any project / job delivery risks and deliver the project / job to brief, deadline, within the agreed budget and in such a way as to maximise client satisfaction
  • This will involve attendance at briefing meetings; liaising with Clients on points of detail / delivery; mastering the detail of the project; creating, updating and securing approval of project / job documentation; briefing, liaising and supervising the Design and / or the Development team (or other departments as applicable); testing; and reporting. Noting that the agency does offer and provide services internationally, but mainly focused within the UK, Europe and Canada
  • Be the first point of contact and resolve client issues to a high standard within tight timescales
  • Maintain documentation in a coherent and structured manner on the internal network and maximise project management tools (Traffic)
  • Work with the Directors to identify and maximise opportunities for further account growth
  • Preparation of job quotations and job brief formations, liaising with the team or external suppliers as required and / or provide assistance to the wider Commercial team to deliver such
  • Provide assistance to the Commercial team for preparation of proposals, presentations and supporting new business initiatives
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions
  • Provide assistance to the Finance team to secure prompt payment
  • Keeping an open eye and ear to pieces in the media that could increase the Agency’s knowledge base and share those with colleagues
  • Enhance your own development by taking responsibility for staying informed and up to date with industry knowledge

In addition to the duties and responsibilities detailed above, the role-holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their line manager from time to time.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience across the board which is crucial
  • Although you do not need to know ‘code’, a good general understanding of creative / production processes involved for e-marketing, social, and the process of building websites is required
  • Have excellent communication skills with all functions within the business; ensuring you form an effective working relationship with your line manager
  • Become an integral member of the Commercial team and the Agency and involve yourself fully in the day-to-day life of the Agency
  • Perform this role in such a way as to maximise client satisfaction and the chance of securing repeat business with positive feedback received from clients and your colleagues
  • Work well to deadlines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of projects / jobs within agreed budget fulfilling the contracted promises to clients, meeting theirs and the Agency’s high quality and value expectations
  • Manage the stages and workloads of the team from creative through to design production and then code or print
  • Ensure the service delivery is managed profitably and in-line with business goals
  • Strive to be the best - managing and developing a culture of continuous improvement by continually fine-tuning and updating the systems and processes
  • Proactively address problems, identify opportunities for increasing client satisfaction and identify and highlight any potential shortfalls in client briefs in the appropriate manner
  • Demonstrate effective time management and the ability to multi-task in a very busy environment is a must
  • Demonstrate high standards of verbal and written communications both internally and with clients
  • Finally, you must be a down-to-earth individual who is up for a giggle and who enjoys what they do!

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be responsible, accountable and have the ability to deliver projects on time and on budget by continuously managing, monitoring and evolving the service delivery, policies, processes, and profitability, to enable the Agency to fulfil their contracted promises to clients and ensure that they consistently deliver high quality service, maximising client satisfaction and improving the opportunity for securing repeat business.
