PR Account Director – Woking, Surrey / WFH

Salary £45,000 - £50,000 DOE plus benefits

We are pleased to be recruiting a PR Account Director to work for an integrated marketing agency specialising in the hospitality industry who specialise in growing businesses, from independent hotels to conference venues and from small suppliers to trade associations and they are looking for a PR Account Director to join their growing team to work on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

The PR Account Director’s main duties and key responsibilities:

  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of the media and build relationships with key press
  • Update contact reports and update clients regularly by phone, in person and by email when required
  • Source ideas for features, events, opinions and surveys on behalf of their clients
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and news in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries on a regular basis and provide information to the team during meetings
  • Ensure all projects run to deadline and budget using the existing internal process
  • Assist the CEO in identifying potential organic opportunities and new clients and relationships to grow the business
  • Be a part of the senior management team providing insight and solutions to building the agency’s team and the business
  • Maintaining ongoing detailed knowledge of business trends, insights, influencers and communities
  • Owning formalised planning, monitoring and reporting
  • Day-to-day development and execution of communications strategies
  • Creating and supporting impactful and exciting campaigns to secure robust outcomes for clients
  • Sourcing and creating opportunities for clients including partnerships, speaking, thought leadership and awards
  • Supporting the agency’s commercial goals and delivering work on time and on budget
  • Managing marketing delivery to support client events
  • Driven to supporting the growing team and sharing your expertise and passion for communications

The PR Account Director will have the following experience, qualities and skills:

  • A minimum of five years’ PR and Marketing experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager or PR/Marketing Manager ideally within the hospitality, tourism and leisure sector. Experience of media strategy development is essential
