Salary DOE plus benefits

This is a full time, permanent role, but contractors and freelancers will also be considered.

  • Do you have 4+ years agency experience of medical editing and day-to-day involvement with detailed QC?
  • Do you have a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and PowerPoint)?
  • Are you an individual with excellent English language skills and ability to adapt editing style to different materials, target audiences and therapy areas?

About our Client

We are working for a global hybrid agency who produce content, collateral and campaigns expertly from concept to delivery for their extensive B2B and B2C client base.  They work with some of the biggest global brands and they are now looking for a Medical Editor to join their busy team.

Job Description

What You'll Bring:

The ME is responsible for setting and maintaining standards of language, style and layout, working with other teams (Account / Creative / Digital) to produce accurate, consistent materials to deadline and specification.

The successful applicants’ main responsibilities for this role will include:

  • The ME is the go-to person for ABPI and NOAH queries in the healthcare team and keeps up-to-date with developments in the area
  • The ME is also proficient in Zinc / PromoMats and plays the invaluable role of checking referencing when required and uploading to the relevant approval system

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

Key Performance Standards:

  • Capable of leading the Editorial support for specific accounts, handling resource on a weekly basis
  • Adept at communicating clearly and working effectively, collaborating with colleagues across teams
  • Versatile; able to apply skills across a range of therapy areas and materials

Skills:

  • Excellent English language skills and ability to adapt editing style to different materials, target audiences and therapy areas
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and PowerPoint)
  • Shows initiative and is comfortable working independently

Experience:

  • 4+ years agency experience of medical editing and day-to-day involvement with detailed QC checks

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will report to the Creative Lead (Healthcare) and is involved in the development of high-quality healthcare communications materials.
