About Our Client

We are working on behalf of an impressive global brand who are looking to recruit a Marketing Education Executive to lead the marketing of their Photographic School as part of their overall educational leadership strategy, including supporting the running of the School both online and offline, briefing, creating and presenting educational content as well as coordinating with the wider European educational strategy.

Job Description

The successful applicant will carry out the following duties:

Principal Responsibilities

Marketing Support

  • Manage the Photographic School Marketing plan as part of the wider marketing strategy, including:
  • Participating in Marketing team meetings as the company’s School Champion
  • Calendar and content coordination between School and wider Marketing activations
  • Photographic School website management and optimisation
  • CRM email creation and sending
  • Manage the Photographic School Instagram account and other social assets
  • Work with European taskforce team to deliver core educational initiatives, including:
  • Management of Photographic School training team’s availability
  • Leading and inputting on educational content briefings
  • Production direction and assistance
  • Educational presentations to press, retailers and staff

Photographic School Support

  • Support the day to day running of the training department
  • Deputise training and content creation, as appropriate
  • Co-create, promote and manage training courses to retailers or customers
  • Attend external events, courses and photographic shows, as required

Main Tasks

Marketing

  • Play a key role in marketing strategy and planning as Education champion
  • Keep Photographic School calendar up to date and synergised with wider marketing plans
  • Work closely with the Nordics to ensure strong Photographic School representation there
  • Review and recommend Ambassador and Z Creator talent for educational roles as part of Photographic School courses and / or content creation
  • Be the lead in Educational European Taskforce meetings
  • Plan and execute educational shoots to deliver content, including presenting
  • Plan and lead Photographic School interactions with press and retailers to enhance the company’s educational leadership
  • Create and amplify content through the company’s channels:
  • Social Media
  • CRM
  • Youtube
  • Website
  • Research and recommend educational trends for future courses and content creation
  • Seek out new opportunities and events with strong links to photography

Training

  • Analyse trends in course bookings and make recommendations for adjustment / new courses
  • Upload new course content and course dates to make them available for booking
  • Work with web agency to manage training website content and availability of the website
  • Support responding to booking enquires, e-mails and gift voucher purchases within 24 hours
  • Support the handling of course cancellations and liaise with delegates promptly
  • Ensure course and events calendar is up to date and maintained on a weekly basis
  • Deputise training courses as an additional presenter, with potential to run own courses
  • Liaise with training manager and marketing team to ensure training courses are promoted via the Internet and social media platforms
  • Coordinate sending of invoices and expenses to the finance department
  • Liaise with agencies to coordinate models and external venues for training courses
  • Assist with training stock shipments to and from DHL for training courses
  • Support the design, creation and delivery of training content
  • Support on location training course planning and execution, including travel, accommodation and kit considerations

Education

  • Higher education

Professional skills & Know-how

  • Strong technical understanding and passion for photography (3+ years’ experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Understanding of video conferencing software
  • Professional use of social media platforms – e.g. Instagram
  • Use of browser based website management software
