We are delighted to be recruiting a Healthcare Communications Strategist for a global hybrid agency who produce content, collateral and campaigns expertly from concept to delivery for their extensive B2B and B2C client base.  They work with some of the biggest global brands and they are now looking for a Healthcare Communications Strategist to join their busy agency on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

The Healthcare Communications Strategist’s key responsibilities:

  • Define specific business and marketing challenge with client.
  • Understand therapy / product / service proposition often scientific / technical.
  • Undertake market planning and market structural analyses.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the context of a marketing challenge.
  • Research and identify key audience insights, motivations and behaviours.
  • Design, commission and undertake research to inform advertising and marketing strategies.
  • Make strategic recommendations, share insights and solutions that will meet the business and marketing objective.
  • Provide the creative team with a clearly defined brief.
  • Ensure approach recommended meets appropriate regulatory requirements.
  • Define performance metrics and analyse and interpret results to demonstrate the effectiveness of the activity against agreed objectives.
  • Develop content and facilitate strategic workshops.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, technology and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other functional teams within the agency.

The Healthcare Communications Strategist will have the following key knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Effective and confident communicator
  • Intelligent and analytical thinker
  • Ability to assimilate and evaluate a wide range of data
  • Familiar and conversant with regulatory codes especially ABPI
  • Broad appreciation of different marketing techniques especially digital / social landscape
  • Some experience in healthcare planning / strategic marketing role
  • Good experience in marketing / planning experience agency-side (preferred) or client-side
  • Graduate / graduate calibre
  • Inquisitive
  • Personable
