Digital Marketing Manager – Woking, Surrey / WFH

Salary £25,000 - £40,000 pro rata DOE plus benefits

This role is being offered for a minimum 4 days per week.

  • Do you have a strong understanding and experience of SEO and analytical platforms, incl. Google Analytics?

About our Client

Our client is a communications agency specialising in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries. Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join their busy team.

Job Description

The successful applicants’ key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage projects, juggling deadlines and prioritising client needs
  • Have lots of client contact and manage digital projects.  You will work internally and externally and be responsible for the success of your projects
  • Have both the autonomy to lead projects and the support to be successful doing so
  • Prepare for and lead major client meetings, hold regular update calls and work with other internal teams to ensure excellence on every occasion
  • Be given substantial responsibility and have the chance to master new digital marketing technologies as well as grow within your own role and expertise

The ideal candidate’s desired qualifications, requirements and skills:

  • Educated to degree level in marketing, PR, business or communications
  • A strong understanding and experience of SEO and analytical platforms, incl. Google Analytics
  • Ability to interpret analytical data, incl. evaluation and creation of digital reports
  • Understanding of customer journeys and engagement opportunities
  • Good knowledge and experience of developing email marketing campaigns and using software such as MailChimp and Campaign Monitor
  • Experience in being able to create 12-month content plans to drive engagement and increase visitors to websites
  • Excellent understanding of all social media channels, behaviours and commercial opportunities to support campaigns
  • Effective use and experience with Content Management Systems, such as WordPress and Umbraco
  • Ability to identify, source and develop content including editorial contributions, insights, news and announcements as well as guides
  • Process-driven with strong problem-solving skills
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Excellent written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of communication platforms and tools (e.g. social media platforms, MailChimp / Campaign Monitor)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, incl. Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task, working on multiple accounts and projects daily
  • Team player
  • Ability to work to deadlines, with strong time management skills
