About our Client

We are working for a communications consultancy with a holistic approach to capital markets, corporate and consumer PR who are looking for a Digital Account Manager to join their busy team.

Job Description

The successful applicant will carry out the following duties:

  • Work with the Digital Team to plan and execute digital campaigns across social, PPC, SEO, email etc
  • Write and optimise content for all digital communication channels including long and short form content, posts and adverts
  • Management of clients’ multiple social media accounts across Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. This will include strategy, content development, execution, engagement and reporting
  • Plan and execute paid social and advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Google ads
  • Responsible for leading on client communication for your portfolio of clients
  • Manage the team responsible for planning and execution of all online and display advertising campaigns for clients
  • Offer excellent end to end client service, from objective setting, campaign set up, delivery and regular reporting
  • Use analytical tools to analyse campaign results to optimise performance
  • Position yourself as a digital expert internally and externally across a range of products and services
  • Spot opportunities for digital growth across existing client base
  • Work in a collaborative way with team members, which promotes partnership and team-ship
  • Be skilful at managing up, down and across the agency
  • If you do have staff reporting into you, take ownership for their career reviews as in line with company policy
  • Take an active role in coaching any junior staff and providing motivation and leadership
  • Support Company culture wholeheartedly, sharing the company’s vision and values with staff and encouraging a positive working environment
  • Play an active role in developing the agencies broader resources and practices to ensure seamless operation to support business growth
  • Continue your professional development in consultation with your Manager
  • Participate in training programmes to improve your skill set and develop your potential
  • Liaising with the client teams to continue to support and maintain the relationship with the client
  • Keeping Workflow Max updated daily
  • First line telephone answering, taking clear and accurate messages and fielding calls
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Keep up to date with digital news and technologies
  • Attending trade shows, client and agency events throughout the year, where appropriate

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, knowledge and qualities:

Essential

  • At least 4 years' experience working within an agency, with excellent client facing and account management skills in a digital or social media role
  • Proven experience of managing high performing paid social campaigns and driving performance improvements
  • Creative but analytical - you'll be comfortable and confident handling data and reporting back to clients on campaign metrics
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent understanding of digital channels and how they complement wider communications
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of digital technologies and platforms
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met, including managing multiple digital marketing programmes
  • Highly organised and accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Positive, friendly and ambitious

Desirable

  • Line management experience
  • B2B / financial services / Investor relations experience
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will support the Head of Digital and work with the Digital and PR Client Team to plan and deliver effective digital marketing communications to achieve the agencies and their clients’ business goals.
