This position is currently being offered as a hybrid role; with the successful candidate going into the office to brain-storm their ideas.  This is also being advertised as a contract role – on potentially a 3-6 month basis.

We are delighted to be recruiting a Commercial Marketing Manager for our lovely client who is a branding and digital design agency who work for global sports brands, cutting edge tech brands, and other established brands across the UK.  Based in Guildford, the Commercial Marketing Manager will predominantly be working from home on a contract basis.

Job Description

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and capable Commercial Marketing Manager to join their busy agency and help grow and develop their client base.  They specialise in the sporting field and B2B tech start-ups and they either rebrand websites or brand them from initial concept through to delivery.

What You’ll Bring:

The Commercial Marketing Manager will have the following key responsibilities:

• Create and implement a marketing strategy to generate new business leads for the agency (you will find the leads yourself, with the support of the company, reporting into the MD)
• Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing activities and identify potential customers
• Build a pipeline of opportunities and demonstrate the ability to turn them into profitable accounts
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
• Become an integral member of the Agency and involve yourself fully in the day-to-day life of the business

The Commercial Marketing Manager will have:

• A proven track record in business development and marketing
• Knowledge of the marketing landscape with an understanding of branding and digital solutions
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• The ability and desire to go above and beyond to work with the team to deliver exceptional creative solutions for their clients
