Job Description

This role is working in a new team and is focused purely on the consumer side of the products.  This is an exciting role and is all campaign focused work within an agreed scope.

Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager is part of a team of 16, made up of Project Management, Strategy, Designers and Developers.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have an understanding of the importance of brands and working within brand guidelines
  • Have a deep understanding of the business; their needs, expectations, and requirements to provide the best service and solution through close partnership with the client
  • Ensure effective project management through the full life cycle using project governance as directed by the client – escalating issues and proactively resolving problems, managing project resource and spend and making critical decisions
  • Have the ability to drive and motivate a team and project through to successful completion
  • Run account meetings and take responsibility for service levels and KPIs
  • Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing
  • Work closely with designers to develop a brief from beginning to end
  • Support client growth and projects
  • Work across various consumer brands each with their own set of guidelines
  • Support timing and delivery plans and working with PM to ensure campaign delivery is on track

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have campaign delivery experience in the agency field (digital and motion) which is essential
  • Have experience in retail / FMCG which is desired
  • Have the ability to manage both individual and project workloads and identifying challenges and risks within them, along with the mitigation and solution
  • Have executional rigour, competent in multitasking and great organisational skills
  • Have the ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audience
  • Be competent in presenting and communicating ideas to clients
  • Have the ability to clearly articulate your ideas
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and manage multiple campaigns at one time
  • Be confident with clients in both a face to face and virtual setting

The Successful Candidate

Working in partnership with the client, the Account Manager assists the team to create powerful and impactful campaign content (e.g. print, digital and video). The role will be working closely with a project manager to facilitate campaign delivery via an agreed scope of work.
